☀️ SOLAR RECHARGE OPTIONS

The F3800 Plus accepts up to 3,200W of solar input.

Fully charging in about 1.5 hours with optimal sunlight.

Recommended maximum solar setup

☀️ 8 × Anker SOLIX 400W Portable Solar Panel

How to connect the panels

  • Solar input 1: Reserve 4 panels for Solar input 1 and use the Anker-approved series/parallel cable layout for this four-panel group.
  • Solar input 2: Reserve the other 4 panels for Solar input 2 and use the same approved cable layout for the second group.

Series means panels connect end-to-end, which increases voltage. Parallel means panel groups join through compatible branch connectors, which increases current. The maximum eight-panel setup uses both methods, so the exact cable order and connectors must be confirmed for the exact panel model before installation.

Important: Do not connect all 8 panels to one solar input. Each input is limited to 1,600W, 165V, and 17A.

Need more help? Ask our Chat AI or Caller AI to confirm the exact series/parallel cable layout for your panel model, or use a qualified solar installer before connecting the maximum setup.

⚠️ IMPORTANT TO KNOW

  • Runtime depends on connected equipment, duty cycles, temperature, settings, conversion losses, reserve level, and battery condition.
  • Appliances whose combined demand exceeds 6,000W should not be operated simultaneously. Some appliances may draw more power than their nameplate rating during startup.
  • Use only manufacturer-verified solar panels, cables, and configurations, and do not exceed the station’s verified solar-input limit.
  • Expansion batteries increase stored energy and runtime but do not automatically increase the power station’s continuous output.
  • Optional workshop, water-system, hydroponic, productive-property, and community loads will use stored energy faster and reduce the displayed rationed runtime.
  • This portable station is not a substitute for qualified electrical installation or a verified whole-home transfer system.
  • Plug solar panels directly into the F3800 Plus during outages; rooftop Home Power Panel cannot be used for charging during an outage.
  • Each F3800 Plus can connect up to six expansion batteries; charge levels will gradually equalize between the unit and expansion batteries.
  • When recharging via 120V AC input, only the three 120V UPS outlets can be used to power devices (240V outlets unavailable).
