These Terms govern use of the Generator Junction website and purchases from Generator Junction. Generator Junction is operated by Larocque Enterprises, doing business as Generator Junction, a Quebec sole proprietorship. Our U.S. business and mailing address is 6421 N. Eligibility and acceptance
By using the site or placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and accept these Terms and the policies incorporated into them.
Products and direct supplier fulfillment
Generator Junction is the customer-facing seller, but physical products are fulfilled directly by third-party suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, warehouses, and carriers. Generator Junction does not warehouse, pack, ship, receive, inspect, manufacture, install, repair, or certify products.
Supplier-specific processing, shipping, return, warranty, and service terms may apply. Generator Junction coordinates customer requests with the applicable supplier or manufacturer. Such terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
Product information and availability
We seek to provide accurate information, but product descriptions, images, specifications, availability, compatibility guidance, runtime estimates, charging times, capacity figures, performance data, prices, promotions, and delivery estimates may contain errors or change without notice. They are informational estimates, not guarantees.
We may correct errors, update information, limit quantities, reject or cancel orders, or discontinue products where reasonably necessary. Where an order cannot be fulfilled or a material delay occurs, we will provide the options required by applicable law.
Customer responsibility and safe use
Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is suitable for the intended use, electrical system, appliances, accessories, installation environment, commercial or professional application, and applicable local requirements. Review the manufacturer’s specifications, manuals, ratings, warnings, warranty terms, and approved uses before purchase and use.
Consult the manufacturer and a qualified electrician, installer, engineer, technician, medical professional, or other appropriate specialist whenever safety, wiring, installation, code compliance, critical equipment, medical devices, or technical uncertainty is involved.
Do not connect equipment to building wiring, an electrical panel, generator inlet, transfer equipment, or similar systems unless the configuration is manufacturer-approved and completed or reviewed by a qualified professional.
Portable power stations, generators, batteries, solar panels, and related products are not guaranteed or uninterrupted sources of power. Unless specifically designed, installed, and approved for continuous or critical use, they should generally be treated as supplemental or backup power. Customers using products for off-grid systems, medical devices, life-safety equipment, essential medication refrigeration, or other critical loads must independently verify capacity, redundancy, maintenance, and emergency backup requirements.
Orders and payment
All prices and transactions are in U.S. dollars. An order is an offer to purchase and remains subject to payment verification, fraud review, supplier availability, and acceptance. We may request additional information or decline an order where reasonably necessary.
Cancellations, returns, refunds, shipping, and warranties
These matters are governed by the Refund and Return Policy and Shipping Policy, which form part of these Terms. Customers must contact Generator Junction before returning or shipping any product.
Manufacturer warranties
Warranty coverage is provided only as stated in the applicable manufacturer’s written warranty. Generator Junction assists with communication and coordination but does not independently decide manufacturer warranty coverage.
Informational content and no professional advice
Guides, infographics, calculators, compatibility assistance, runtime estimates, product comparisons, and support communications are general informational materials. They are not electrical, engineering, installation, legal, tax, financial, medical, emergency-preparedness, or other professional advice.
Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, introduce harmful code, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use the site for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property
The site and Generator Junction-created text, graphics, guides, infographics, branding, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Free downloadable materials are for personal informational use unless expressly stated otherwise and may not be resold, republished, or commercially redistributed without written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Generator Junction is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss resulting from misuse, improper installation, incompatible equipment, unauthorized modification, failure to follow instructions, reliance on informational estimates, supplier or carrier delay, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Larocque Enterprises and Generator Junction against claims and losses arising from your unlawful use of the site, misuse of products, unauthorized modification, improper installation, or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own legally established fault.
Governing law
Until the business structure is updated, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Larocque Enterprises in Quebec, Canada, without excluding mandatory federal or state consumer protections that apply to U.S. customers. Any governing-law or forum provision is subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes
We may update these Terms prospectively. The version posted when an order is placed generally governs that transaction, except where law requires otherwise.
