Anker SOLIX - F3000 - Portable Power Station

Preparedness Level: Step 2 โ†’ Step 3

Daily Backup โ†’ Extended Backup

๐Ÿ•๏ธ Off-Grid Journey: Base Camp โ†’ Outpost

๐Ÿ  Home Backup: Small House โ†’ Family Home

START HERE โ€” STEP 2 / DAILY BACKUP | 3.1 kWh

Plan around 11 conservative hours with a refrigerator, freezer, CPAP, Wi-Fi router, essential lighting, phones, and one laptop. Use cooking equipment and other high-demand appliances briefly and separately.

๐Ÿ“ STARTING CONFIGURATION

๐Ÿ“ฆ 1 ร— Anker SOLIX F3000 Portable Power Station

END HERE โ€” STEP 3 / EXTENDED BACKUP | 12 kWh

Plan around 19 conservative hours with the same essential household equipment. The additional battery reserve provides longer refrigeration, internet and medical-device support, more regular cooking periods, and less need to rotate smaller appliances. High-demand appliances should still be managed carefully.

๐Ÿ FINAL EQUIPMENT

๐Ÿ“ฆ 3 ร— additional BP3000

โ˜€๏ธ SOLAR RECHARGE OPTIONS

The F3000 accepts up to 2,400W of solar input.

Fully charging in under 2 hours with optimal sunlight.

Recommended maximum solar setup

โ˜€๏ธ 6 ร— Anker SOLIX 400W Portable Solar Panel

How to connect the panels

  • Solar input 1 (High PV): Connect 4 panels in series, then plug that group into Solar input 1.
  • Solar input 2 (Low PV): Connect 2 panels in parallel, then plug that group into Solar input 2.

Series means the panels connect end-to-end as one chain. Parallel means both panels join through a compatible branch connection before reaching the power station.

Important: Do not connect all 6 panels together as one group.

โš ๏ธ IMPORTANT TO KNOW

  • Runtime depends on connected equipment, duty cycles, temperature, settings, conversion losses, reserve level, and battery condition.
  • The official 42-hour refrigerator figure is a controlled test for one refrigerator and set of conditions, not a universal household runtime.
  • Appliances whose combined demand exceeds 3,600W should not be operated simultaneously. Some appliances may draw more power than their nameplate rating during startup.
  • Use only manufacturer-verified solar panels, cables, and configurations, and do not exceed the stationโ€™s verified solar-input limit.
  • Expansion batteries increase stored energy and runtime but do not automatically increase the power stationโ€™s continuous output.
  • This portable station is not a substitute for qualified electrical installation or a verified whole-home transfer system.
  • F3000 only provides 120V output by itself; pair two units with a double voltage hub for 240V.
  • High-PV supports up to 1,600W (example: four 400W in series); Low-PV supports up to 800W (example: two 400W in parallel).
  • Bi-Directional Inlet Box AC input limited to 120V~15A, 1,800W max via that inlet.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long can Anker SOLIX F3000 provide long-lasting backup power?

F3000 features a 3kWh capacity and low power consumption that leads the industry. One F3000 can power a 190W fridge for 42 hours. Add a gas generator, and F3000 could power your home indefinitely while you have fuel.

What types of solar panels can I use to charge Anker SOLIX F3000?

F3000 features 2 PV inputs that support 2,400W. High PV: Supports panels between 11-165V. Connect up to four 400W solar panels in series for 1,600W. Low PV: Supports panels between 11-60V. Connect two 400W solar panels in parallel for 800W.

How does Anker SOLIX F3000 3,600W pass-through charging work with my gas generator?

F3000 works with most 120V gas generators on the market if it has a TT-30 plug or adapter. Use pass-through charging to charge and discharge simultaneously, avoiding power interruptions. Log onto the Anker app to set the generator's power rating.

How does Anker SOLIX F3000 provide 240V output?

F3000 only provides 120V output by itself. For 240V output, connect two F3000s together with a double voltage hub.

How can I lower electricity bills with Anker SOLIX F3000?

1. F3000 features a Bi-Directional Inlet Box and a smart meter to prioritize solar power for daily use. 2. Enable TOU mode to charge when prices are low and power when prices are high. 3. F3000 has two PV inputs, supporting 2,400W of solar for appliances.
