Anker SOLIX - C1000 Gen 2 - Portable Power Station
Preparedness Level: Step 1
Essential Power
🏕️ Off-Grid Journey: Tent
🏠 Home Backup: Room
START AND END HERE — STEP 1 / ESSENTIAL POWER | 1.0 kWh
Plan around 8 conservative hours with a refrigerator, CPAP, Wi-Fi router, two LED lights, and phones, while using higher-draw appliances only when needed. Use a microwave, coffee maker, or similar high-demand appliance briefly and separately. Avoid electric heating, central air conditioning, electric water heating, and EV charging as regular loads.
📍 STARTING CONFIGURATION
📦 1 × Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 Portable Power Station
☀️ SOLAR RECHARGE OPTIONS
The C1000 Gen 2 accepts up to 600W of solar input.
Fully charging in about 1.8 hours with optimal sunlight.
Recommended maximum solar setup
☀️ 3 × Anker SOLIX 200W Bifacial Portable Solar Panel
How to connect the panels
- Solar input: Connect the 3 panels in parallel using a compatible 3-port MC4 branch connector, then plug the combined cable into the solar input.
Parallel means all three panels join through a compatible branch connector before one cable reaches the power station. Series means connecting panels end-to-end as one chain. Do not connect these panels in series because that can exceed the station’s 60V solar-input limit.
Important: Use a compatible 3-port MC4 branch connector and the correct Anker solar charging cable. Do not connect the three panels in series.

⚠️ IMPORTANT TO KNOW
- Runtime depends on connected equipment, duty cycles, temperature, settings, conversion losses, reserve level, and battery condition.
- Appliances whose combined demand exceeds 2,000W should not be operated simultaneously. Some appliances may draw more power than their nameplate rating during startup.
- Use only manufacturer-verified solar panels, cables, and configurations, and do not exceed the station’s verified solar-input limit.
- This portable station is not a substitute for qualified electrical installation or a verified whole-home transfer system.
- C1000 Gen 2 does not include an expansion feature.
- UltraFast Charging speed depends on battery cell temperature and is reduced at 0–20 °C (32–68 °F).
- Can be charged via grid and solar simultaneously; solar power is prioritized.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2's capacity be expanded?
C1000 Gen 2 delivers faster charging and higher output power. To improve portability by reducing weight and size, it does not include an expansion feature. For users who need expandable capacity, C1000 is recommended.
Why does charging take over 49 minutes with UltraFast Charging on?
UltraFast Charging speed depends on the battery cell temperature. UltraFast Charging activates when the battery temperature is above 20 °C (68 °F). Charging at 0–20 °C (32-68 °F) will significantly reduce charging speed.
What are the working modes of Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2?
C1000 Gen 2 has Standard and Time-of-Use (TOU) Modes. Standard Mode is ideal for everyday plug-and-play use, while TOU Mode automatically optimizes charging and discharging based on electricity price fluctuations, helping reduce energy costs.
How to enable UltraFast Charging?
To enable UltraFast Charging, connect the AC charging cable to C1000 Gen 2's AC input port. Then in the Anker app, go to the product homepage and enable UltraFast Charging in the Input section. Use only when necessary to prolong the battery lifespan.
Can Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 be recharged via the grid and solar panels simultaneously?
Yes. C1000 Gen 2 can be charged via both the grid and solar panels simultaneously, with solar power prioritized and any remaining capacity supplied by AC charging.
